Show Me the Way
It’s warm. It’s steady. It doesn’t rush you. It just holds you—and reminds you that you don’t have to have everything figured out to keep moving forward.

Today felt like one of those quiet but meaningful turning points.
Not loud. Not announced.
Just… clearer.
I spent some time sitting with the vision for what's ahead—really sitting with it—and for the first time, I could feel the shape of it in a different way. Still not something I’m ready to fully put out into the world (I’m doing the work, building it thoughtfully), but enough to know that it’s coming into focus. And that felt good.
What’s interesting is what helped unlock that clarity.
I came across a post from Verdine White of Earth, Wind & Fire—just a simple “day in the life.” Nothing overly produced. Just presence, rhythm, intention. There was something about it that grounded me. A reminder that legacy is built in the everyday moments, not just the big ones.
And then I did what I always do—I followed the feeling into music.
I went to Illumination and played
“Show Me the Way”—that beautiful collaboration between Earth, Wind & Fire and Raphael Saadiq.
There’s something about that song.
It’s warm. It’s steady. It doesn’t rush you.
It just holds you—and reminds you that you don’t have to have everything figured out to keep moving forward.
That’s where I am right now.
Not everything mapped.
Not everything said.
But moving. Seeing. Trusting.
If you need a reset, or just a moment to breathe into something good, I’d encourage you to take a listen:
“Show Me the Way” – Earth, Wind & Fire ft. Raphael Saadiq
(on the Illumination album)
Let it play. Don’t skip it. Let it land.
Sometimes clarity doesn’t come from pushing harder.
Sometimes it comes from pausing… and letting the right thing find you.
